Reimagining Safety Michigan is creating a vision and pathway toward building a transformative, loving culture in Michigan that’s not based in punishment. We are a collective of organizations who are intent on transforming the conversation about how safety is created in our communities from the community level to the systemic level. We believe that we need to divest funding and resources from police, detentions, and prisons, and instead invest in community-based and life-affirming resources, all towards a vision of a world without prisons and policing where all are cared for.

To do this, we know that we must build new systems and ways of being that center transformative justice, truth-telling, and healing. We invite you to join us!
